- IT IS A SATA 3 SSD: This M.2 drive uses the SATA 3 protocol (B+M Key). It is NOT an NVMe PCIe SSD. Your M.2 slot must be SATA-compatible.
- IT IS A 2242 DRIVE: This SSD is 42mm long. A standard M.2 SSD is 80mm long (2280). Your motherboard or laptop MUST have a mounting screw hole for the “2242” position.
