Please read this carefully BEFORE purchasing. This is a specialty drive.
- IT IS A 2242 (42mm) DRIVE: This is a “short” M.2 SSD. A standard M.2 drive is 80mm long (2280). Your device MUST have a mounting screw hole for the “2242” position.
- IT IS NVMe (M-Key): This is a high-speed PCIe Gen 4 drive. It will not work in an M.2 slot that is “SATA-only”.
- NOT FOR PS5: The PlayStation 5 requires a minimum read speed of 5,500MB/s. This drive (at 5,000MB/s) is NOT fast enough for the PS5’s internal storage expansion slot.
