When the sun goes down, its Advanced Night Vision provides a clear view up to 30 meters (98 ft) away, ensuring your property is protected around the clock.

How It Works
- Get the App: Download the free TP-Link Tapo app on your smartphone.
- Mount & Power: Securely mount the camera to an outdoor wall. This is a plug-in camera, so you will need to run the included power adapter to a nearby (preferably weatherproof) power outlet.
- Connect: Follow the simple on-screen instructions in the Tapo app to connect the camera to your network (via Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
- View & Store: You can now view a live feed from anywhere. To record video, you must install a MicroSD card (sold separately) or subscribe to the Tapo Care cloud service.

Good to Knows (Please Read!)
- POWER SOURCE: This is a plug-in camera and is not battery-powered. It must be connected to a wall outlet using the included 9V power adapter.
- STORAGE (Required): To record video, you need to install a MicroSD card (up to 512GB, sold separately) or subscribe to the Tapo Care cloud service.
- IMPORTANT – This is a Fixed Camera: This is a fixed-lens “turret” camera. It does not pan or tilt. You set its viewing angle manually during installation.
- WI-FI: This camera connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only. It does not support 5GHz.
