How It Works

1. Mount the Panel: Use the included 360° bracket and screws to securely mount the solar panel in a location that receives several hours of direct, unfiltered sunlight per day.
2. Adjust the Angle: Rotate and tilt the panel to face the sun’s path for maximum energy capture.
3. Plug It In: Run the 4-meter cable to your compatible Tapo battery camera and plug in the Micro-USB connector.
4. Done: Your camera is now charging from the sun. The Tapo app will show its charging status, powered by clean, free solar energy.

• COMPATIBILITY IS KEY: This panel (A200) uses a Micro-USB connector. It is ONLY compatible with TP-Link Tapo battery cameras that use a Micro-USB charging port, such as:
  • Tapo C420
  • Tapo C400
  • It will NOT work with Type-C cameras (like the EZViz EB8) or any other brand.
• Direct Sunlight Required: For best performance, the panel must be in direct, unobstructed sunlight for several hours a day. Performance will be reduced on heavily overcast days.
• Camera Not Included: This is the solar panel accessory only. The Tapo battery camera is sold separately.
