This product is an internal accessory module, not a complete terminal. It is designed exclusively for the Hikvision DS-K1T673 series of face recognition terminals.

By installing this module, you instantly upgrade your main terminal with two powerful new authentication methods:

1. Fingerprint Recognition: Adds a high-speed, reliable biometric fingerprint scanner to the system. This allows you to enroll users with their fingerprints for fast, secure access.
2. Bluetooth (BLE) Mobile Access: Adds a Bluetooth (BLE) chip that enables “mobile credentials.” This allows users to unlock the door by simply presenting their smartphone with the Hik-Connect app, turning their phone into a secure key.

This module is the perfect upgrade for enabling high-security two-factor authentication (e.g., Face + Fingerprint) or for adding the modern convenience of mobile access to your existing hardware.

How It Works

WARNING: This is an internal component that requires professional installation.

This is not a plug-and-play USB device. It must be physically installed inside the main DS-K1T673 terminal.

1. Professional Installation: A qualified technician (like Compufi) must power down and open the main DS-K1T673 terminal.
2. Internal Connection: This DS-KAB673-FB module is carefully slotted into its dedicated internal port on the terminal’s mainboard.
3. Re-assembly: The terminal is closed, re-mounted, and powered on.
4. Enroll & Use: The terminal will now have “Fingerprint” and “Bluetooth” options available in its menu and in the management software. You can now enroll user fingerprints and set up mobile access via the Hik-Connect app.
